yes. if I, or he/she owns the game, two people can play.

example, I own BF4, I can play with one friend/family member. two people without the game, can not play my game at the same time.

I thought I read somewhere that this feature can only be used for 30 days for each game. After you share a game for 30 days, if a friend wants to play it then they have to buy it.

30 days is longer than it takes to beat most games today. People like my brother who buy a game and take it back a week later because they've beaten the game will most likely grab a new xbox so he can just mooch off his xbl friends and play games for free.
