Best of both worlds here! I keep it looking nice, have done a bunch of appearance mods, but I also drive it! A lot. Over 12000 miles, so far. As you can see from the picture Normagene posted above of me at the drag strip, I am determined to have as much fun as I can with this BEAST! I have done AutoX too, and I cannot wait to try out a road course! These cars are meant to be driven, but if someone wants to leave all the plastic on and let them sit in the garage for years, it's their money!

Personally, I plan on being the guy that buys someone else's low mileage garage queen and drive the heck out of it! When I get done with my current Corvette project, that will be my plan with a nice C6 Z06 that some other guy never drove!

Too heavy is subjective. The car is certainly heavy, but HP > all deterrents.

I already had a El Camino putting out about 370 hp., so I was thinking of getting the ss.
But when I was told the they do not encourage racing the ZL1, "but incouraged it" I was sold. It puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it.

The car was built for one thing... Drive it like you stole it.

For both. It's sexy and fast enough for me. I'll be doing pulley upgrades, cams in the future for more power when I get tired of what it has.

Cool

None of the above.

I feel that I'm driving an American Icon, and am hoping for above average resale. It is a daily driver for me.

I drove BMWs for 20 years, and this car cost on about a par with a kitted out 3 series (not M3). It's not as refined, but I have no complaints about the handling, performance and ride.

I will say that I have got more thumbs up and comments about this car than any I have ever owned. The Camaro in general where I live is fairly rare. See a lot more BMWs and MBZs on the road...even Pruises!!!

I have never seen a ZL1 other than mine in person.

It truly is amazing just how much attention these cars get. It's a first for me. Never have I gotten so many complements about any car I have owned.

Both last week at Camaros for Heroes I won a trophy in the car show and then went 11.6 on the drag strip
