CCW Progress

Thanks John, for sending these to me.

-note: this is a work in progress, still waiting for pictures of the final combinations.

"had a 2010 ss in here today to do some fitment work
http://www.ccwheel.com/misc/new%20camaro%20ss/
some are pics of 20x11 (polished 505a) and then a custom 20x11.5 (brushed sp16 with 3" lip and 2mm caliper clearence)
using the 315 35 20 nitto invo (little too big, the 305 35's will be better)
also shown are 19x11 pics with 315 40 19 hoosier r6's (raw sp550 and 505a)
as well as 18x11 with the 305 35 18 m/t radial (tire was too short but i didn't have a mh 28" tall 325 40 18 in stock to do it right)
a 17x10 is doable to run a 28x10x17 hoosier bias slick, but i dont have the proper component to build it right now
this is just some preliminary stuff
i expect to settle on a 20x11.5 rear and 20x10 front with a 305 rear and 275 front tire
john"

So frustrating..only taking pics that show NOTHING...you need to see the whole car with the rim in order to get the effect.

seems like some of those are sticking out a little more than I would like. I would like to avoid having the tire throw crap all ove rthe car. I want a smuch tire as I can get while still staying inside the fenders! That is the fitment I am looking for.

Nice to see that there will be some small wheels that can fit for racing applications

Yeah, it seems like all the wheels that are being made stick out too far. I'm beginning to think that I will just stick with the OE wheels and powdercoat them.

+1 what do you think is going to happen if we start lowering the cars?, This has to stay in side the fender not out side.

CCW makes a great wheel even more for there price point. I have had 3 sets and been happy with each. The only problem is keeping them clean and polished.

What are the weights vs stock rims? I like the looks so far.

It just seems the offset isn't correct or something. BTW in another thread on the HPE600 car that just got built, that looks to be the correct offset on those wheels ..

Once they are done with the R&D with the wheels, I am sure there will be nice pics.

Had one set....but I second the part about keeping them clean! Damn, they were a biotch! But well worth the effort...
