Hi everyone. New user here whose been anxiously awaiting the bumblebee version of the Camaro. Here's a link I wanted to share with everyone from a dealership in Florida that is offering the car on eBay. This looks more like a custom made version than the official release and let's hope I'm correct.

The one pictured is not a Bumblebee edition.. Just a plain yellow with black stripes Camaro..

Yes I know but they've titled it as 2010 Camaro 2SS Bumble Bee automatic. Yes a lame attempt but kind of interesting they'd do that. Fact is, after all the research I've done and probably yourself, we still really don't know what the car is going to look like.

so i know this may not seem like much but i talked to my brother last night about the "transformers" edition. he told me he has seen 2 in person and had the chance to buy the third one in amarillo tx before he bought his black rs/ss. he told me they had all the badges and everything that fits the discription of the bumblebee. the sill plates, center caps, steering wheel and the stitching on the console of the autobot sign. he said that he heard they were only gonna make 3 total. prob. because of their fin. stat. maybe people got creative, maybe not, but how could the dealership in amarillo attach these logos if it wasnt true? ill try to get more info but thts what my brother told me and he does have pretty credible sourses

We know of all the little details the car will have in the form of stitching and stickers.. However this dealer may simply be advertising their yellow camaro with black stripes as a Bumblebee edition and either adding on all of those aftermarket parts to make it look like it (illegally by the way) or they made a mistake with the picture they are showing or simply don't have a picture of it and posted the Camaro that most closely resembles Bumblebee.. Either way the Bumblebee edition is proving to be "not worth it" due to the price in comparison to buying all the accessory extras yourself. Buy yourself an LS or 1LT with RS and paint it exactly like Bumblebee with the Valspar paint and get painted black stripes and it should come out almost the same as what they are asking for and it will look a whole lot nicer...

im not talking a 1lt or an ls. the 43000 is for a 2ss/rs ls3 6 speed. if u consider it thats only 6 grand more than a non BB 2ss/rs. but like i said ill get more info on it and see if it was a tru BB. i dnt think a dealer ship is gonna illegaly place items on a car that the dont have the permission to place

You're probably right. Especially if they decide to use regular old rally yellow, I don't see much reason to buy it if it's marked up too much. But how do you know of the price? I've heard nothing of pricing yet. Also the true color of BB is called Valspar? Just wondering as it might be worth it to paint it myself as you suggested.

I wasnt expecting too much. Its just a normal SS with rally stripes. Not too bad but not probably worth the extra price.

The color is called Sunrise by Valspar... Send Pinkcamaro a message and she'll tell you all about it..
