if i was driving my 77 T/A...i would have definetly died. The early 2nd gen F-bodies could decapitated you with the huge hood...until they put in a crumple point on them.

WOW...I am really sorry...I am glad to see your alive. Here I was sitting here sulking because my Camaro 2010 that was rearended 3 weeks after I got has been sitting at the collision center for over a month for parts and was just getting bummed. My wife kep telling me at least I am getting my car back. And now I see this and am feeling for your you! I am really sorry for you and hope you make a quick recovery and get back in line for your next Camaro.

Your car protected you and mine did a fantastic job too with a mini van that got totalled and mine was repairable.

I have to agree with a lot of people. Your car is messed up and your messed up. We should be glad you made it out ok and stop the questioning like they are some kind of inspector gadget or something. That is one cop who is absolutely heartless. Improper lane change? HELLO! I THINK HE'S BEEN PUNISHED ENOUGH! And to think of how long he's looked forward to getting his car and then lose it in one day. Not to mention the horrid pain he's suffered and will continue to for a long time! I don't care if you deemed it a violation of the law because he could have killed someone head on by falling asleep or whatever... it is what it is. Sometimes mercy needs to be shown. I don't think he's gonna go out and do this again! OMG! It's cops like him who give them a bad rap! He would be the cop that needs to be watched very closely by internal affairs for not having a clear head!!!
You are very lucky to be alive! I honestly believe someone was looking out for you! The car can be replaced, but you can't obviously. I know you are very thankful.
