When my wife goes with me, I ALWAYS open the door for her. SHE thinks it's because I am a gentleman. I KNOW it's because I don't trust her not to throw it into something!

So bummed. It's right on the edge of the door. I was picking up my teenage daughter and she threw the door open right into a concrete pillar. The crunch will haught me for weeks.

I think I have you beat... Did this pulling out of my driveway this morning... Only had the car 2 days...

Seriously though, I drove a Saturn coupe for a number of years and it looked brand new when I got rid of it. Plastic doors don't dent, ding, or rust. Too bad it never cought on.
That Saturn technology was on all Gen 4 Camaros and Firebirds......had 20 years of Gen 4's, and not one door dink or dent. The rear quarter panels were a different story!

Don't let a little door ding get you down! My 2 main mods have been door dings and dog hair and I'm still loving the car. And everyone is exactly right, these doors really do fly open. The other morning I stopped at a convenience store on the way to work, flung the door open without looking and knocked an older guy down on the sidewalk by the door... felt terrible about it, especially because he noticed I checked my door before helping him, ha!

Reggie that would be awesome! I was planning on bringing my car to Mark Christopher Chevy on Saturday morning to have them reset my TPMS sensors. Maybe I'll have them give me a quote on fixing this too?
