First day of Sturgis trip done - day 2 will start early, so I'm gonna crash - gotta figure out the GoPro mounting in the morning before we head into the pretty part of the drive!

Awakened early at the hospital and saw your post. Twisty, Andy and I all have experience with the GoPro. Don't know what edition you have or accessories. The suction cup mount worked well for me inside and out. Couple of tips I was given: make sure the area you mount the suction cup on is clean, make sure if its on the windshield and you need to use the windshield wipers that they clear the camera, the suction cup could possibly damage your tint, although mine did not. I had mine mounted inside and the glare headed into the sun wasn't optimal, but I could charge it in the case. Outside I couldn't charge it but my wifi bacpac with the phone app allowed me to turn the camera on and off and start and stop it. The wifi bacpac couldn't be turned on and off as far as I could tell. I had it mounted outside and took it on the road getting up to 80 or so and on the drag strip getting up to around 90. Good luck

How did he hit the windscrren but miss the prop? Do props hold up well to bird hits? I bet that was some scary maneuveratin' !

I hear you shouldn't leave it mounted in a parked car due to heat, just throwing that out there.

Are you going thru Yellowstone? AMAZING country

I don't have a gopro, I have a Vicovation... best one I could find that loop records I need constant recording, gopro doesn't loop, and doesn't care if you leave it in a parked vehicle... no batteries to explode.

Oh, sorry, thought your advice was from gopro experience. I always dismounted it if we were not with the car so it wouldn't be stolen. Didn't take it off inside the car and didn't have issues. I did take it off at night to transfer the video to the laptop.

I don't think it's common but they say nimh batts can pop in high heat. Better safe than sorry.

Any improvement with your mom?

Just holding her own for now. Stable but critical. Just have to see if she heals.

Ongoing Prayers for your Mom Diane. Take care of yourself too!
What a seriously busy day at work! I am beat but have more work to do. I am absolutely NOT going to sit up too late working on it though. When I get tired I am going to bed no matter how much is done. Later crew.

A couple made a deal that whoever died first would come back and inform the other if there is sex after death.
After a long life together, the husband was the first to die. True to his word, he made the first contact:
" Marion .... Marion "
"Is that you, Bob?"
"Yes, I've come back like we agreed."
"That's wonderful! What's it like?"
"Well, I get up in the morning, I have sex. I have breakfast and then it's off to the golf course. I have sex again, bathe in the warm sun and then have sex a couple of more times. Then I have lunch (you'd be proud - lots of greens). Another romp around the golf course, then pretty much have sex the rest of the afternoon. After supper, it's back to golf course again. Then it's more sex until late at night. I catch some much needed sleep and then the next day it starts all over again"
"Bob, Are you in Heaven?"
"No -- I'm a rabbit somewhere in Iowa or Kansas ”
