I saw plenty of L99's, and thought "What is the fun in driving an automatic?"
Saw a manual, soon as I drove it I knew I wouldn't have regretted it. Still to this day I'm glad I got an LS3.. WHATS THE FUN OF A MUSCLE CAR IF YOU CAN'T SHIFT MANUALLY!

M6 here. I actually had to downgrade to an LS to get one. all the LT's on the lot were autos.

I must say that the Camaro V6 manual has seemed a bit clunky, and still is after 30K miles, but that was my only transmission consideration.
