New to the scene here.. Have a 2010 SS with a Borla Atak catback. Want to put headers and high flow cats on (dont want to have to get a tune or CEL)

What are recommendations for headers and Hf cats that will sound good with my Borla but won't completely break the bank?

Long tube headers need a tune unfortunately, I mean you could get shorty headers if you didn't want to tune.

For headers id go with TSP if you dont want to break the bank. they also have HF cats but im not too sure how they work. i went with the TSP 1 7/8 Headers and catless pipes.

Welcome NY. Your going to have give one up. Tune it, which is what I recommend or live with the cel. Tuning you car will yield more HP. I am a big kooks fan, but most headers yield about the same HP. Kooks has excellent fit and finish. You may want to search about the brands, there is tons of info around here already written. All headers sound good, cat backs influence the sound/tone more than anything.

Not a big fan of shorties, next to no gains. Not worth it in my opionon. But to answer your question, they should not throw cels or need a tune.

What am I suppose to vote for? I highly doubt they'll return it to the way it was. Is Mikey's compromise actually mine that he stole from me?

I voted compromise. They are not putting back the way it was.

I voted to put them back how they were, but I also don't really think they will. But I also put that edit on there.

He should. I voted for it because I knew what the compromise was, but looking at it now, it's not that clear.
