Does a muffler delete sound better than an exhaust?
Could i really get this sound by just deleting my muffler? I mean I want an exhaust but this sounds so mean and it will be so much cheaper

It depends. It is very subjective. You can get it done for $80. I like it quiet. I'm fine with my stock exhaust beside it being so ugly.

It's very subjective. 95% of the people around here thinks it's the worst mod ever and hate it and will bash it.
...personally, I love it. Drone free, quiet and cruising speed, cheap, and sounds great WOT.

Not a fan. In my ears it sounds like 312 frogs croaking. I would be more partial to a tuned muffler, myself.

What really counts is how it sounds going down the road and trust us when we tell you that a simple muffler delete using stock pipes on the V6 just makes you look bad. Too high pitched, too loud, too raspy, and the car sounds like its constantly laboring to get going. Now, you can still get away with a decent sounding exhaust for not much more money. Throw a magnaflow resonated X pipe (muffler) in place of the stock H pipe, and that alone on top of a muffler delete makes a big difference. Now that...I can recommend if you are wanting to stay cheap.

The quieter a V6 is the better IMO.

If you want cheap jack the car up an take off the whole cat back for free. That's what I did for a few weeks. But it really only sounds good up to 3k and over 5k. Extremely loud also.
