I think you are supposed to remove those things once you get your alignment set correctly...

Only in Houston . Referred to as 84s on vogues(white wall tires), swangas, pokers, wire wheel, elbows. Here's a Cadillac that I saw at the dealership for service recently.

These wheels were a factory upgrade on the 1983-1984 Cadillac ElDorado...hence the name "84's." They were built by Cragar and are pretty rare making them kinda expensive, especially for wheels as fugly as those.
