I truly want the brace, but I cant spend the extra money on the adapter kit. To me, the adapter kit defeats the purpose of the tower brace since the adapter will allow flex.

Why couldn't GM make one brace that fit all the camaros?
Yeah, I'd have been interested in this uniquely polished brace also but have a 2010. The best adapter kit I've seen (also semi-polished and nicely machined) cost about $135 and that's just too much combined. Plus I really don't relish the thought of drilling holes in the strut towers. Weird how GM changed things from the first year to the ensuing years.

Many 2011 Coups have the 3 threaded bolt holes on the strut tower for mounting. I believe there were some very early 2011 coups that did not. You should be able to look at your STB and tell. (Look at the 3 hole pattern in the pic of the first post).

I did this to mine and it really sets the engine bay off quite nicely. I get a lot of compliments on the bar and I would highly recommend this to those of you looking.

I got my wife to take some pics of the towers (car is at home)and I dont see the holes. they should be on the sides of the towers correct? I see some little pre-drilled looking holes on the top of the tower. I dont know how to post pics on this website or I would show you, lol

Look when you get home. Although you may have an early build without them. Let me know.

It will not fit. I have a 2011 ss. But I don't have the predrilled holes. The plates in the door show my car was built in late 2010. Sorry. I would love to buy it, but it's not going to fit
