SS hard idle...

So a few days ago at work, I let a guy who is big into drag racing give my car a spin... he's one of my favorite engineers to work with, and he's extremely respectful of other people's things, so he took it very easy, pretty much normal street driving with a little bit more pedal to the floor than daily driving, no big deal... (I rode with him) When we got back, he noticed that it seems like the car idles kinda hard... about every ten seconds there is a vibration that shakes the car just enough to be noticeable... I hadn't noticed it before, but now I do and I'm mildly concerned... is that par for the course? His guess was that there was a miss somewhere, so I made sure all my plug wires were secure, and they were. This is my first endeavor in a modern performance car, and I'm used to a healthy rumble in my Chevelle, I just want to ensure everything is good in the Camaro so I don't do any more damage if something ISN'T right...

Anyways, is it worth taking it to the dealership, or is a bit of a rough idle just common with these cars? (2SS, NPP equipped, CAI, VMAX PTB, but the vibration was noticed before I installed the throttle body)

I wouldn't worry about it, all my small block cars shake/vibrate, including my Tahoe. The LS3 is the worst offender obviously.

It's common, nothing to worry about. Every car with an LS3 I've driven or rode in has done it.

Ok, sweet... I kinda figured as much... I also assumed if something were actually wrong, I'd get a CEL

I love it, maybe I'm weird! It just feels like the LS3 is reminding you that it's ready to kick some ass when you are

How many miles do you have on it? - I dont notice any vibration in mine.
Maybe we are listening and used to different sounds from our motors but I would let someone else listen to it in person

That would be caused form the lope of your cam, and the little extra push it gets once in a while when extra unused gas gets ignited, though our duration and such is not too much its still healthy.

The LS3 also hates hot weather. Anything over 80 degrees and performance goes out the window.
