Based on state franchising laws, GM has very little control over its dealers. No mfr does. They can discuss with them but can't take away cars or cancel them unless they are convicted of fraud or other legal issues. You can discuss with GM, but the cust reps that post here know that too, but certainly won't say it.

Just start working your way up the dealer ladder to get your story told.

The BBB is a good route too.

Cadyshac I'm not looking for sympathy at all if someone on this forum looks at this post and realizes they are in the same area they can pm me and I'll give them the details and I wasn't saying there was fraud involved they just treated me like crap during the whole process from purchasing to the attempt at service and yes I love camaro's as well and that's why I bought the car from this dealer because it was my dream car

Apprarently you didn't see how many dealers GM dumped when the car business spun out of control in 2009. GM can pull the dealer agreement anytime they like for under performing dealers

Sorry to hear about that. I gave up completely on the local Chevy dealerships and put off my purchase for the near future. After dealing with so many different dealers for different manufacturers I have to say that the Chevy dealers were the worst of the lot.

Wrong, who gives them the franchise? GM does. You can't just decide one day you want to be a Chevy dealer and buy a franchise. You have to provide GM a business plan and meet GM's requirements for the dealership, if you fail on your end of the franchise agreement ....GM giveth and GM can taketh away.
