Wow! I'd love to know some of there "best practices" (processes they follow) for their runs.... for instance, in M? Brake stand for any RPM rev at all? TapShifting or not? Traction/Stabilitrac turned off (7 second button press), etc?

The biggest issue is this guys. 90% of us on these boards are Camaro nuts. We bought the car for the LOOKS, HERITAGE and PERFORMANCE!!!. No how many folks never owned a 400HP car are going to get there cars and say they are great. ALOT, but us real car nuts are going to say what we are here and what the F@#! is wrong with our L99's.

Many of you posting that your L99's feel find, well do not tune them. Take them to a track or somewhere and do your 0-60's. I think you may get upset.

I thought my car was fast until I got beat by a GT, V-6 Accord and a 2LT V-6. Then my sales rep and I did time runs and 7.68 and 7.26. Told me we had a real issue.

Now if you say I have not track or no stop watch then just tell me this. Can you turn off traction control, put the car in M, put foot on brake and then take it off brake and stomp the gas and break the tires loose? I 400HP car better dang wheel have a enough torque to spin the rears just doing that.

Oh and the 2LT V-6. It would break the rear end loose just doing that, no power breaking. My L99 will not. Go out and try that today and let us know.
The amount of people's who's L99's are running fine outweigh those who's aren't. Yes there is an issue, but the way you are portraying it, you're making it seem like all of the L99's are junk when they're not. Take a gander at the 1/4 track forum and you will see the proof.

Right If you think your L99 is slow then go to your local drag strip and make 3 passes with trac off / stabil off in sport mode ... no brake stall just hit it ... Then let us know ,...

From my observation, the car is losing tons of power and especially torque in the midrange by your car running like a rich pig. That will definetely make your car feel slower and that will show up on your timeslips as well.

Can somebody post up some recent good L99 stock dyno graphs to compare with his

You got me curious. Took mine out today and hooked up my G-Tech. I'm in south Mississippi so it is hot, 90 degrees and humid. Made 2 0-60 runs. Car has 1000 miles on it and first time I have really gotten on it hard from a dead stop. First pass Comp. mode in M. No power brake, just hit the gas. 5.40. Second pass with T/C off just nail gas. 5.34Did get a small amount of wheel spin on both tries. Did one 1/4 mile pass but it didn't seem to launch as good. I was in comp. mode in M. 13.70. But remember it only has 1000 miles on it and should get better with some age.

How accurate would you say your G-Tech is? Which model is it? I realize the G-Tech name an reputation are good, but I am wondering how much more accurate it is vs. the iPhone app Dynolicious (or the like).

I hear you! I learn something new with HP Tuners every GM we do. Really great software. I only wish they'd improve the "navigation" tree on the left side. Sometimes things come up sometimes when you click and then don't show up again. Weird. Just a few PCM's.

Anyway, I'll wait to hear from you. Thanks again for the plug!
