A few questions about bolts and nuts:

1. Headers, highflow cats, cold air, and a tune.
How much quicker and faster in the quarter mile on a M6 car?
How " an A6 car?
2. I have the above mods on a '13 A6 car. My 60' times are between 1.94 and 1.99. I can feel no tire slip. (295-45-18 Nitto NT05.) Best 1/8 is 8.34 at 87.06 MPH.
Would drag radials, say 555R's, make my car more consistant, and or lower my 60' time? Or do you need more horse power to benefit from DR's.

Thanks!!

I'll preface this with i don't run my car at the track. NT05R is the drag radial you want unless you think it might see rain, then the 555. Be prepared to start breaking stuff. You never need more HP to make good use of traction!

Nice! I'm playing in the morning. Just got back from a week field training exercise, hence my absence. Rays game today with my daughter and wife then finishing up the floors..hope all are doing well.

DRs always help at the track regardless of hp. Mods you have listed are the 3 that should be done. Air in and air out is always what you do to these cars ( first, then the sickness sets in. lol) Obviously if you add HP/trq the car will turn in quicker times. I never tracked my car stock and never tracked it without a cam. So I'm not sure what the 3 mods and tires would do to you times. I would make an educated guess of .5 to a full second off the 1/4 mile.
Not knowing is where the fun is. Do your mods and then go check out results at the track. Enjoy

I'm about to go to oreillys borrow a SCANNER (Birm lol JK) and a fuel pressure gauge. My brother has a 2003 Silverado SS and it will not idle on its own without tipping the throttle a little. It has 100k so I'm starting with the basics and changing the fuel filter, then I'm unplugging the IAC sensor, map sensor and see if there is a culprit. I'm also going to take the TB off and cleaning the inside of it and cleaning the MAFS. Funny thing is that it has no CEL light. Any ideas post them up!

If the idle rpms are low and stalling than the throttle body needs to be cleaned...
