Op, just go get on a vette forum and post some pics of your vette, maybe you can add some green stripes to that so it'll stand out. LMFAO

my bad i didnt quote you perfectly the first time
Rare to me is 1 in 365. Like a torch red 2003 Cobra coupe in 10th anniversary trim. That's rare. I don't want a "rare" car. I dont want one where I see them every time I blink either.

Maybe I'll put some photo shopped smoke on my back tires. Wait, you beat me to it. Totally tubular bro.

I want a 1 in 1000? Where was that said?

Well since I can get a Vette LS3 for 62 after incentives at Buckalew Chevrolet and the ZL1 they have is 66,988 with no incentives......there...still cheaper when talking new. Oh. Did I mention the LS3 vettes put up better times than the ZL1? Mines a LS2, but since we are talking new....now the ZL1 loses stock for stock.

Ya I wonder why that is?

why are you still here? You are obviously trying to stir the pot because you had issues with your camaro and you are bitter about it.
And to say a camaro doesn't stand out is laughable. Have fun with your Corvette. I hope to read your departure from the corvette forums in the not so distant future.

3 reasons for dumping my Corvette:

1. The paint is chipping off the front just like my old camaro did.
2. Doesn't get as much attention as my buddies Smart Car.
3. All the other Corvette owners drive slow and are average age of 65. (They do wave, though. This makes me soooo happy!)

So you chose a Vet. its not much rarer. there are a ton of them. less than a Camaro but still i cant go for a ride over a Hr without seeing them. like i said you wanna look like a Ferrari owner without laying down the cash for one.

What? Why the Vette is faster, or why it's cheaper?

Nah, only 4 times as rare as the Camaro. 10,000 vettes last year. 40,000 camaros. Thats fine to me. Also, theres that Ferrari comment. Ahhh, beating a dead horse.

Not worried about you. Your camaro is a 2013. Your warranty is still in, therefore you are still happy. I'll talk to you again in 2016 and 36,000 miles.

I love how people say "Never had that problem. Never that either, but there are TSBs for the spoiler." ROFL!!!! Never happens. GM just issues those for fun. It's the latest thing.

Why they have to put so much incentive toward it.

Just read through this whole thread. No waves? Not exclusive enough? And shitty paint...hmmmm. The obvious choice to fix all of those issues would be a c6 vette?? Hahaha okay buddy. Good luck with that logic.

In all seriousness though, the vette looks good, not a huge fan of the hood but I'm a big c6 fan. Good luck with it and hope to see ya on the road somewhere. Ill be sure to throw ya a wave

Most vette owners are like 50+ years old. At least Camaro and Mustang owners are still young lol. Dunno op, you bought what made you happy. Watch out in texas, there are lot of 600 hp 5.0's roaming around looking for vettes to eat.

Your right I've never seen the paint peel off a corvette, then again I've never seen the roof fly off a Camaro either. The Corvette out prices an equally equipped Camaro by 6 to10 grand. Plus buying used, you can't be sure your paint problems are GMs fault. The owner could have had it repainted. Though there have been paint issues. I got my car off the dealer lot in December 2009 and have had no issues. My mother has certain requirements for her daily drivers. They must be sporty, RWD and V8. The last few times they bought cars for her, she was stuck with either a Mustang or a Vette. Being a Chevy family, they went with the Vette. She currently has a 2004 Z06. It's their 3rd Vette in a row. This one and the 2001 she had before it both have had serious electrical issues. Every model has issues. Even Ferrari and Porshe has occasional issues.

B.C thats how you come off. you clearly care abt self validation way to much and want to stand out in a crowed. and i just like that Ferrari comment (which btw when you own a Ferrari you are allowed to make such a comment when someone acts like you have even though i know your just stirring the pot and im falling for it)

Obviously your reasons for selling your car are valid for you in your situation.

Personally, I could never see selling my car because I do not get waved at......

Also, its so easy to make your car your own, even with other G5 camaros around that that could hardly be an excuse.

You list the price of a ZL1 camaro at $66,000. You do not own a ZL1, you can get a new SS for the mid $30K range or a fully loaded 2SSRS for around $42,000. I know that because thats what I paid for my loaded L99 2SSRS 2010. Since then I have dropped another $40,000 into it and have another $10,000 before its done with my upgrade plan. Yes, thats roughy $92K on a camaro. Thats around $20K less then a ZR1 vette and I will be putting WAY more power to the ground then the ZR1 has at the crank and on top of that a 100% unique car that is MINE.

Don't get me wrong. As soon as I get my Camaro project finished, I am going to be looking at the 2014 Corvette stingray.

Your reasons for selling a car just seem a bit strange to me. I bought a 2010 camaro because, since the first day I saw one, I HAD TO HAVE ONE. Could care less what others have, only care what is under my rear and nothing else.

Have fun with your vette, where I live, I see vettes about 3 to 1 compared to camaros. Also see Mustangs about 10 to 1 to camaros.

It's priced high. Then, everyone wants a camaro because it "looks cool." I got sucked in by that too. Then, you realize. The looks is all it has. Only pushing 10k vettes in a year, you can take incentives like that on them and price them high.
