Driving the 69 while they were filming was more fun than I could have ever imagined. The car needed to be almost bumper to bumper with the camera truck at about 40 mph. They would have me accelerate and run the car up to the camera trucks bumper then hold the position. We filmed lane changes, rotations, 3/4 shots, passing, and throttle matted lane change passing. They had radio communications with me for instructions....I learned to pay close attention to their instructions.

The 69 ran well for a few hours but the shifter cable melted and failed. Then the battery ran down due to all the cooling fans being run continually. Also the dang valve cover breather started leaking oil slightly....the old girl was put through more than she's seen in many years...LOL.

Thanks to James for setting up this deal and Phil for his quick translation lessons....and the ride home to get my hauler to retrieve the 69.

The episode should be in Nov or Dec on Wheeler Dealers....please keep an eye out for it so I don't miss it.

I think we will have enough dvr's running that youll have a months worth of recordings to watch. Plus you know we're gonna have to throw it up on here

Not going to make it to Hooters today, trying to finish some stuff up around the house. Also if anyone is interested I am selling my hi flo cats. They bolt to the factory manifolds and if I remember theyll bolt in as replacements to the factory ones

Don't blink when the episode is run or you might miss my 69. It will play a small part ( maybe 10 minutes ) but none the less....It was a great experience.....and the perceived value just increased.

I have a new appreciation for filming crews. Those guys really do a lot of work in order to get the right shots. What we see as a few minutes of great video action requires hours and hours of filming and editing. I'm sure they will have the 69 digitally mastered and looking showroom fresh.

I'm still a little giggly....

Well I wont make it today....as of right now...landlord is bringing more people by to show the house....not to happy. If he brings them by earlier enough, I am going to haul ass to get there

James I would not rearrange my life for a landlord that's trying to sell the house out from underneath me. Either come when I'm home or show it himself. He's already putting you at an inconvenience. Just saying no reason for you to have to sit and wait on him. And if you have a lease agreement he can't force you.
