FWIW, the cut-off wheel specified in the documentation is now my go-to tool for cutting plastic.
No melting, just cutting.

Day 2, lenses are all off and the electric modules are now on. My pops had some clear silicone so I traded with him. Getting ready to put the diffusers in, I'm assuming they do not get siliconed as the instructions dont call for that?
I might use my glue gun to apply a small bead to each to help hold it. Looks like they will be back on the car tonight for pictures! Fingers crossed that it all works =] |

You don't really need to attach the diffusers to anything. Once you put the lens on, they are captivated.
Everyone: One thing just hit me that has been discussed before, but, was not in the first post. If you have not been following along, these are LED's, so, you will need load resistors (4x 6 ohm, at least 35W) to eliminate the Bulb Out errors on the DIC and hyperflashing. You can get them yourself, or, we can supply a set of four with t-taps for $28 (special price for those that have purchased the kit, normally $35). I'll update the first post and send out an email to everyone about this just to be sure. |

Can you make a quick DIY to install those? I can run to radioshack and grab them, assuming they carry that. |

The errors are just annoying, no damage.
Last I checked, Radio Shack did not have them, but, some auto parts stores do. They are usually by the bulbs. I'll put together instructions, but, they just get installed across the outer wires of the bulb connectors. |

Worth every penny...still need to add those resistors but I'll do that next weekend or something.
I want to thank Tony for an awesome product and 100% customer service. He has always answered me within an hour or two with full responses. Here's a pic, I'll take some tonight when its dark. This was taken during the day, in direct sunlight. At night, these are going to be the real deal. I must say, these on a black car... |

As far as install, I've done nitrouz, cut outs, built my own bumper, installed angel eyes on numerous maxima headlights, and some other custom stuff. This was not an easy install. It just requires a lot of cutting, time, and patience. Don't try to do this over night, leave yourself the weekend. Also the instructions say you can use a utility knife to get the lens off, I'd pay to see someone do that. Don't attempt this without a dremel. No one part is difficult, just like I said time consuming your first time around. If I did this again I'd be able to cut my time in half.
Looking forward to the flicker! |

Like I said guys, these are the real deal, very hard to take pictures of. My GF and I used our android and iphone and these are the best we could get. We have a Nikon D3100 were going to crack out at some point to get some proper photos, you need a real camera to get these on film.

Looking good DarkneSS!
![]() LIM3, for now, it's a kit to mod your lights. Once we get past this first hump, we'll look at finished tails. |

I don't have the skils to mod something like that. I'm in for the built ones when you start them.

DarkneSS, I assume u got the light colored diffusers because I don't think the dark ones were ready to ship yet... What do you think about the light diffusers on a dark car in the daylight? Do the diffusers show up too much when the running lights aren't on? (they seem to look good in daylight when the running lights are on). I have a Victory Red and am currently planning on getting the dark diffusers... and I'm still waiting to see what the (internally installed) Flicker will look like.
Also, I assume the yellow-orange coloring in the pictures u took isn't real; are the lights actually a consistent red color all over in real life? Did you crack out the good camera yet? Which of the six "draft" brake light patterns did Tony choose to use when the brakes are applied? Are you going to Camaro5Fest? Is Tony going to Camaro5Fest? |
