yeah because those 3 cars are price competitive with a Camaro. wtf?

Actually the FE big block, Boss 429/351 Mustangs were not as dominate as you think. MoPars had a reputation for hooking up and you could fit a lot of tire in their wheel wells. I met the guy who traded the Hemi rr I bought for a Boss 429, the rr was faster. The Boss 351s and 390 GTs weren't competition, but the Vette 427 3x2s were in the top tier club.

There was a lot of muscle during those years and I enjoyed riding in other rides, it's amazing how many guys make it to adult age, notice I didn't say adulthood.

68 428CJ was one of the fastest stock cars tested back then. And drag cars with 4V Cleavlands were pretty bad ass. Bob Glidden was running 2 Dominators on his 351's, never saw Grumpy with 2 Dominators on a small block. 390's were mostly turds, not so for the Boss 351 or 429CJ os SCJ though. 52 years young here.

Oh yeah, let's compare completely different cars that are nowhere near being in the same class... Just because you don't know how to drive your Camaro, doesn't mean they can't handle great on a road course.

The 1LE has them beat, a standard SS is still behind.

So lemme get this straight it's ok for you guys to pretend the 1LE or ZL1 is anywhere close to a C6. But when you reverse the situation it's an unfair comparison? Point being that there's a big difference between a car that was built to handle and was that was made to do so, hint the Camaro wasn't built to do so. Therefore to sit and pretend like the Mustang couldn't be made to do so also is completely assinine.
