We ran my buddy's car at the MDRA race last night at GLD, in Old School vs New School which is basically an outlaw 1/8 mile class. LS power for the win, went three rounds and won with a final pass of 4.79@158 1.19! Will say that Jason from VP was prepping the track, makes all the difference. The weather is looking really great for Tuesday and Wednesday and I am thinking of making my first trip this year to GLD on one of those days. Is anyone else going to be there?

Not me this week, my new front wheels are not here yet. I could maybe see going out next week with lighter fronts, small battery and a small adjustment on the shift points though I'm probably gravitating to Fridays.

I just got home from GLD. I was very surprised that I was the ONLY 5TH gen there. I did my best to put up a good showing for the 5th gen. I took down a Charger RT, a Mustang 5.0, a Challenger SRT8 before I lost to a Pontiac G8 GXP by like .08. That one I was really sleeping on the line and then spun pretty good. I was catching him until I got to the end of 3rd gear then we stayed even till the end. He got my by about half a car. I then ran 3 more and lost all 3 to 3 different 10 second older Camaros. I will get my time slips from the car and post some of my times tomorrow. I did have a PB of 12.82.

Congrats, street tires or drag radials?

I might be open to going next weekend, Thur or Fri, if I've got the fronts on and I like how the weather looks. I've figured out how to 60 in the high 1.6's on a regular basis but a low 1.6 or better will only happen in killer air and I don't know if GLD will ever have the hook I'd need.

Fronts showed up at Deerfield Tire, Garrett is mounting up a set of tires for me today and I'll pick them up tomorrow morning.

I have to fish or cut bait now, cut roller skates off or do pads. I read that the brembo pins are not reusable? Not sure. I will probably try to cut off the skates. Hard to do with the brakes on the car Timmay?

Dang thanks for the pics, let's keep 'em man! So a sawzall would get it done... 10-4. Speaking of dremels, that's one of the few things I've lost in my life, must be in a tote somewhere in my house. But I happen to have a buddy's sawzall at the house I just need to buy a blade that cuts metal.

Bought the car that way, it was a roller and left a roller, former 8.99 car now somewhere up in WI:
