That's one of the things that makes this hobby fun...even with the emergence of the import crowd, the good old battle between the bowtie and the blue oval lives on! I, for one, enjoy some good-natured banter with the Ford guys.

I read all the posts on your "ex-board". I think they could have been alot harder on you being you were bragging about your new Camaro on a Mustang board. I think most of them actually treated you respectably.
I really liked the comment "ya, I saw one of those new Camaros with the 6.3 Hemi"

Now that I'm reading through it it seems pretty diplomatic. There are a lot more "congrats" posts than anything negative.

That's one of the best things about our hobby. No matter how much of a hardcore chevy or ford guy you are, you can still respect the other guy for his love of cars. I for one have never and will never buy a ford, but I'll give props to a guy who has a nice mustang or pickup. Its part of being a car guy.

To be fair we've had that problem here too. IMO now, we've got some pretty smart mustang owners here and they do contribute a lot to the site.

Most of those guys seem to respect the bowtie, but some are fools. Just like our site really. Most of us just like cars in general, but some of us bash everything that isn't GM. Congrats on your car!

How much did you get for your stang? It sounds like you put a lot of money into that thing.

I only read the first page, but people seemed pretty cool about it to me. The wisecrack about going from a boat to a yacht was funny because that's the same charge we get around here all the time about Challengers

I've got $27,500, I think it was pretty descent considering a lot of people will not go for a modded car. I invested around 17k in parts only.
