Actually Toyota copied Ford on that one, it resembled a 69 Mustang 2+2 not only tail lights but rear window, roofline and spoiler lip, much closer than a Prelude looks like a 14 Camaro.

I honestly wonder how many people here truly don't like the new design...or have just convinced themselves to hate it because deep down, they're insecure about the fact that their 2010-2013 Camaro no longer looks like the newest available model.

This is par for the course every time something changes with this car. Steering wheel changed, "OMG THAT SUCKS WTF GM SO STUPID." Interior revision, "WTF GM THAT LOOKS LIKE SH*T MORONS." New wheels for 2013, "SO UGLY WHY WOULD YOU SCREW UP THE CAMARO."

It's honestly comical at this point. Like I said, the 6th gen's debut is going to be amusing as hell.

But at the end of the day, i'd prefer the 2010 wheel over mine. Mine looks like a fleet car wheel. Oddly enough its the same one in my mom's cruze, is it not?

The 2013 wheels were a step backward as well. glad i don't have them.

Every change they've done to this car is literally to make it less muscular. Muscle cars are a niche and all, but, i happen to be very fond of them. I figure most people here are as well. The gen 5 directly plays on the fact that it's a modern day muscle car.

Making it less muscular is downright foolish IMO.

Just a few comments I found on another camaro site about the upcoming 2010 Camaro looks,

If they took a 69 RS (hideaway headlights) Camaro body and put in on the chassis they have now,I'd have the most expensive one...but I just personally think they murdered it. Look at a new Challenger and look at, say a '70 Challenger that was so popular....almost a mirror image except a few minor details that actually HELPED the appearance.

Wow! I've been waiting to see a good pic of the new stripes. They look awesome and are exactly what people have been asking for a long time. I was always a fan of the stripes not going past the hood but these look great. Thanks for posting.
