Squeaking from front drivers side wheel
Hi all,
First off, I just want to say that this is a great site with loads of useful information. I am glad I found it and I will certainly be utilizing everything that everyone here knows! Now I was wondering if anyone could give me some input. I purchased a 2013 Camaro Hot Wheels Edition back in April. About 3 weeks of driving it I noticed a squeaking coming from the front drivers side wheel when traveling at speeds under 20MPH and also when applying pressure to the brake peddle. It only does it after about 30 minutes of driving. It becomes constant. I waited a few weeks given the fact the car was so new. So at the end of may I finally brought the car to the dealer and explained the issue. They took it for a test drive and heard the noise and stated that I should give it some time because I had only had a few hundred miles on the car and the brakes are so new. I continued to drive the car with the same noise continuing until I reached a little over 1200 miles. I was aggravated listening to this car squeak so I again I took it in to the dealer. Again they test drove it and heard the noise. They came back and said there are no recalls with the brakes or wheels on this car. And that the camaro has performance brakes and that they will always squeak. I kinda find that hard to believe. Especially since it is only coming from one wheel. I just can't believe That a car like this that is brand new will just always squeak. Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas what to do? I've already taken it to the dealer twice. I am tired of listening to it when driving. I appreciate any help you guys can give! Last edited by Hot Wheels 13; 07-16-2013 at 01:18 PM. |
