Yup. Honestly, it gets to a point then you pretty much take the street out of "street car". Have you ever noticed that every year a bunch of the fast cars come then go very quickly?

There are only 3 things in the world that will eat your money faster than a fire pit. Women, boats and drag cars.

In my case my wife just suggested we buy a new speed boat. Oh look more of my money on fire.

Ok then, my budget is round about 15k-20k on upgrades to my engine. I want to just start somewhere, I not going to buy everything all at once. I want to know what would be some great upgrades to work on getting to 800hp... Any suggestions???? As in what things to get/buy for just starting out cause my car is basically stock besides the k&n air filter I got on it now. Car is 2011 with 20k miles(just breaking it in) and I think it's time to go big which is why I said money is not a problem but probably my best bet would go to a performance shop around Houston and ask them to give me a quote on some stuff I need to make around 800rwp..?

Just want some advise cause i plan on going twin turbo and i want to know what i need to do to hold that 800RWP as in what transmission, axels, engine stuff i should get to maintain the Twin turbos i will most likely get soon.

Thank you all.

100% I recommend going to Lethal Racing in Louisiana. They seem to put out an 800rwhp every week with cam, heads, S/C, a few trans options and all are still streetable. Meth injection along with that.

They are true experts, one of the best tuners on C5, they spec out their own cams and sell a ton of them to 5th gen camaro owners. Lots of guys come from TX, FL, and AL just to get a tune from them.

Look/ask around for their reputation, and give them a call and they can tell you the best way to go for your goals!

Talk to Texas Speed or Lethal and let them know your plans and ultimate goals. You are looking for a 470rwhp increase. If it was me i'd stroke it, add forged parts, 2" headers and then add the turbos. However you may need to throw some more cash in the pot for that. Then i'd either have that A6 fully built or swap to a built 4 speed if a drag car then some DSS axles and one piece driveshaft and look into some rear suspension work.

All depends on what you plan to do with that new HP. That's just me though. We can't all have unbreakable stock bits like Jamies car. You don't HAVE to do several of these things. Just bear in mind reliability. You don't want to make 800rwhp ONCE.

800whp is a LOT for a street car! And its "just over" where i feel the stock internals are "happy". I ran 700whp in my lethal built vette and I DD'd it! TON of power!! If I were you id call Lethal and tell them this is what you want...

1.) AGP TT kit
2.) Night Fury cam
3.) Meth kit
4.) I know you will need a stall and other tranny parts but I have NO idea about autos???
5.) Return fuel system. I keep hearing squash? Not NEEDED till later, but id do it now if money permits! Much better than a boost a!
6.) DSS axels and drive shaft
7.) Lethal "magic" tune
8.) Any other small stuff Shawn and Nick suggest

That would get you started and DAMN close to where you want to be! Your intenals would limit you at that point! Do the internals later, add a boost controler and your already set up for MUCH more!!

No, I realize Hennessey is out of reach of most wallets. My point is, you should talk to a reputable company that does this for a living. When you start working your way up the hp ladder, so many things come into play. And since you are in Texas, there are a lot of options. Good luck achieving your goal.

Dont really think $15-20k is enough! Not to make 800whp and keep the drivetrain alive.
