This is why I sprung for a dedicated fuel system. It won't suck the fuel rail dry on the initial hit. Hope he gets it sorted out! I'd love to see what it puts down and track times!

I bet that's exactly what happened. He said he ran out around 495HP on the dyno. Shouldn't run out that low unless it just fell behind like you're saying.

I have a stand alone fuel system for the dope. 116 octane.

I have 2 fueling issues.

First pull, per time car put down 495, so I opted to go bigger injectors since that already had my injecyoes at 85%+ duty cycle.
First pull on the bottle ran lean , 14.0 at 4000. He is going to be pressuring up my fuel pump and all should be good.

Right now final numbers are low......he said my drag radials are crazy sticky and robbing power. So when all done we'll switch front and back wheels to get real numbers.

Lol, yeah drs don't play well with dynos. Glad to hear your getting the fuel issue resolved. I have the exact opposite prob, way too rich. But I'm only starting with 470 na. Yours should be a nice gain!

Yea sir, better option then my other wheels....22s. Lol
Yeah, it should be around 515 na.

If you're good na but rich on the bottle and running a stand alone...that should just be a jetting issue...no?

Yeah, that and i probably need to play with the fuel pressure.

Wonder if maybe i should spring for the ZL1 pump so i don't run into this same issue... Not sure if that would help much or not.

You plan on going with a wet shot? If so no need for the zl1 pump.

Yes, wet shot with alky meth kit in addition to.
Suppose it wouldn't hurt to get one though if I can find a good deal on one somewhere. I'm all about piece of mind.

Piece of mind I can understand. As you see from my problem, the stock pump will outflow what the injectors can handle though.

At the very least Patrick, you should upgrade to the Nitrous Outlet fuel line crossover. They claim it helps the initial hit from sucking the rails dry.
