F.Y.I. I thought those plastic rivets were Mickey duck. One holds the block in place and the lowest one goes through the GFX, block and Fender. I replaced the second with a 1/4" x 1.5" Stainless Bolt and nylock with washers.
That's what I was thinking about doing in leu of the missing wheel well bracket, but il go ahead and PM the Chevy rep and see what happens

You'll still need that spacer block though. A bolt alone won't do it.

I hope when they installed they used brand new double sided tape & didn't reuse the old tape that was on there. Some places just leave the old tape, and then you have problems like you are mentioning there. Also the area being dirty or not cleaned properly will cause the same thing.

The tape is never meant to hold it up, just secure it flat to the quarter. The bottom block is what holds it on.

Does anyone have pictures of this bottom block/spacer that I am missing?? Maureen at Rodgers Chevrolet is looking into it for me, but it would help if she had a picture of it. Or of the set up that is done in the wheel well area.
