Either way... Just hope the "issue" gets resolved soon. I must say, even though im still learning, I'm loving mine.
On the contrary, it already did. It was called the ZR-1 launch.

GM accepts every order regardless of allocation. That does not mean that they will build it right away.

Again, as stated many times before, they are not allowing potential faulty cars to get into the public's hands. They are taking the initiative to stop shipment TEMPORARILY to garantee we get the best cars we can get. I for one think that move deserves even more faith be put towards GM. I would only loose faith in them over this issue if they had let them go knowing something was wrong, which they didn't. And before anyone says, "Well, they obviously let some go because we're having them break in the customer's hands.", let me say that they can't test and account for absolutely every possible defect. SOMETHING's going to get by every time. Otherwise, our cars would have hundreds of test miles on them before they get to us.

Be cool, everyone. Don't loose faith because GM is doing everything they can.

I will re word that.... Getting tired of waiting. Been waiting since october.

I realize that this is a public forum and that all spaces are 'free' for any/all conversation....however... due to the nature of this issue and the range of its impact, could we keep this on topic to news and discussion of the faulty TR6060?

I plan on making a new thread when the time comes. When an announcement is made, it's worthy of a new post, instead of being buried in an old one.

* That's if someone else higher up doesn't say something before me. *

High production? What they want to build someday...100,000, doesn't relate to the 14,000 that were presold. Those 14,000 were supposed to be done and out BEFORE regular production started.

I was actually just joking about not being able to wait because of my shopping / modding / OCD issues

On topic, has it actually been confirmed what's going on yet? There was word about the shifter, and of course the initial complaints about the output shaft.

Can we get back to the topic. There are plenty of threads to discuss who is getting there car and who is not. I am interested in the transmission issue and would like to not have to read through hundreds of posts to see when Fbod or Scotty post some news.

like those air planes never have any issuses , they NEVER fall from the sky due to sloppy work from engineers. Go buy a Honda then because they NEVER have any desighn flaws do they ? They never have any launch issuse do they ? Every new car launch has it's set backs mainly because we have no control over work done by suppliers until there product is in our car. It can be bench tested over and over again but until it is road proven we have very little control over that part or piece. As for our unions both UAW and CAW and it's members I wondering what you have against a man or woman bargaining the best deal they can during negotiations and go to work for 40 plus hours on the line and cashing thier pay check each week. You NEVER do that in your job do you?
