12,183

Last Friday I took my 2010 Gen5 2SS over Trail Ridge Road in Colorado which reaches a maximum elevation of 12,183 ft. which makes it the highest continuous road in North America.

The road crosses the Continental Divide at Milner Pass, elev. 10,758 ft.

At the top I tried a "spirited" start from a stop sign and the engine responded sluggishly till the RPMs got higher. However even at altitude I was able to get a bit of scratch shifting from 1st to 2nd.
