See we don't always disagree

You can build massive legs doing sprints and burn massive amounts of calories. Sprinting can be a great type of HIIT.

When people say they run to loose weight(fat) I usually say look at a runner, is that how you want to look? running is catabolic, now look at a sprinter, quite the opposite, sprinting is anabolic

I feel your pain. I'm battling a bad elbow problem for the first time in 25 years of training :( I won't be doing any isolated tricep movements for a while :(
I guess that will work.. Can deload for thw week, then only do my leg workouts for the first half of next week, then try and do my upper body stuff. I dont even know what I did, but extending the arm fully hurts, which sucks

Conjugate method?

I'm not familiar with the term but I'm fairly confident it is based on something I've come across but perhaps known by a different name.
No it's always been referred to as the conjugate method.....even back in the antiquated days google and read...

Well just like I said (and you actually agreed with) athletes are bigger, faster, and stronger today

Maybe tomorrow, it's way past my bedtime and I desperately need my beauty sleep or I'll be old looking and grouchy in the am.

After glancing through (don't expect more, I'm busy lol) the articles it is something I've read before and familiar with, I was not familiar with the term conjugate method or the details. Working the supporting muscles or muscles chained together is something that is not new but often overlooked and something I do but perhaps not in as much detail as written. Often when progress cannot be made in a specific lift it is not directly related to the main muscles targeted but the supporting muscles.

Anytime you're in the area you are more than welcome to workout with me but I'm not much in favor of gym's, there are people there. I train in my home gym so if you think you can get by with what I have, bring it on.

There's a lot more to them than that.

Read them tonight before bed LOL. Will take you all of 10 mins.

You have a squat rack and at least 12 plates?

Hey sweet I'm not the only person that lifts here let's talking lifting and stuff lol:p
I'm 6'2, 225lbs. Shooting for 240 at the moment. Dead lift (my favorite) max is 400, trying to add 100 to that gradually lol. I SUCK at benching though, always have:/ hell I barely do my weight on there haha. Any tips for benching more? It feels like I make no progress no matter how much I do it
