Dealers/ People with knowledge I need help

I am going to keep this quick.
Ordered car back in March sitting at 1100 as of yesterday with no TPW (used forum tracking) all signs point to a problem with the Dealer. I know the allocation system is GM's fault not the dealers.

1) Should I have gotten a TPW when I ordered? if not at what event code do I get it? ANSWERED

2) Is there a "master build list" for the Dealer that has every ones car orders on it( e.x. camaros, tahoes, etc...)? Can I request it or my number on this list? What is the real name of this list?

3) How often do dealers get allocations? ANSWERED

4) Had to add another question. How do I find a dealer that can get me an "build" allocation? I doubt any dealer with out allocations will tell the truth or else they would be out of business.

I am going to see my Dealer today and I want to get some concrete answers as to why I do not have my car yet. I am looking for my place in line and how long til my car is produced. an example of this is if my car is 15 on their list and they get 5 "build" allocations a month then i got 3 months to wait. I can wait but I want to know why I am waiting. Thank you in advance.

TPW is not available to around 3000 and use to not be available till 3400. There is no way they could give you a tpw when you order it would end up being way off. I sat at 1100 since february and moved to 2000 then 3000 same week which was june 30, now i have a tpw of 8/3. Different dealers get different amount of allocations could be one a week could be a couple. Your dealer obviously doesn't have allocation for your order yet. Also it generally takes about a month from 3000 to built which is roughly right if mine gets built the week of 8/3 and then assuming no delays a few more weeks for delivery.

If you are at 1100 sinch March your dealer has no allocation for your order.

I never got a TPW for my car, ever. It was never available. If you can get one, I don't think it would be available until you're at least at 3000.

The build list is called "workbench" Only a dealer has access to this system. It literally takes 2 minutes for him to put in your order number and get a history of the event codes relative to your order.

Every dealer gets allocations at a different rate.

I have a copy of the workbench for my car but is there a list that everyone's car is on for that dealer I would at least like to know where my order is in the grand scheme of things for that dealer. I know I am 3 of 10 out of the camaro allocations.

There is a "master" list of the dealer's orders but he is under no obligation to show it to you. If you are concerned that he is putting other orders in front of you, you have a bigger issue as you cannot trust your dealer.

If he has nothing to hide, I'm sure he can show you where you are on the "master' list.

I want to cancel but I have 2 issues

1) he is giving me MSRP and military discount (all in writing).

2) How do I find a dealer that has build Allocations ready to go?

The military discount is the supplier pricing. MSRP is higher than that. That's why I asked which one.

You say no mark up as if you're paying MSRP.

Just a heads up.

your dealer has the ability to print a list of every order that they have in each of 5 seperate catagories (preliminary, placed, in system, in transit, in stock) or all of the above. this report will generally show tpw of all units in system. the only downside of seeing this report is that it doesn't show what priority the units were given at the time of order. example is that dealer a has 4 orders to place this order cycle. he has two sold orders, a potentially sold unit, and a stock unit. the two sold orders will take preferance if ordered SRE (bona fide sold unit). the other two can be built in order that the dealer assigns them 1 being first down to 99. if he didn't order your unit sold, he could be prioritizing more profitable units ahead of yours.
