Is it too late to change order?

OK....I ordered my SIM RS/1SS on june 1 and it is to be produced on july 20! I've decided I want the 2SS. Is it too late to change my order? I want everything else to stay the same, just want to upgrade. Stupid me...

You can change it up to 3000 i believe. My number is officially 1100 but I have changed the order a couple of times so the workbench reads 2051

It depends on what event code you're at. Just ask you're dealer. I think you can change up the order until it gets to 3000 but not entirely sure about that. If you change it up, just make sure you get a print out of the changes and make sure the options you want are still there. There was a problem a couple of months ago with people changing and the system dropped the RS package, not sure if that problem still exists, just be sure your order is right.

If you're being built next week you're well above 3000. It's a 1SS for you.

But I bet your dealer will work with you on selling it to someone else and ordering you another one...

Totally correct. There's no way you have a TPW and are still 3000 or less.

It may be able to be changed as long as you have not reached a 3100 status. If you are at 3400 (broadcast), too late.

WOW! I definately dont want to wait for another 2-3 months on a new order. I don't think I will be "unhappy" in the least with the 1SS. I was just kind of on the fence with the "bells and whistles" I guess my descision is made for me. Thanks for the posts!

The connectivity package is enough for me to wait another 6 months... I love it. (well maybe 3 months )

Like I said, it has a TPW, it's too far.

Don't feel too bad about it. The main thing you're missing out on is the leather. The bulk of the bells and whistles you can add in with aftermarket parts, or GM accessories. You got the important part

That is the only reason I went 2SS, it has the leather and all the good stuff. I am thinking talking to my dealer about changing the order on Saturday, from manual transmission to automatic. Is it a good idea? Just asking, because M6's are on hold.
