Good Job! Did many cars show up Saturday? Only saw a handful running on Friday.

Looked for you a couple times around the IPS truck, but never saw you.
Too bad the car wasn't co-operating, did see it stage and launch on Friday
around 1:00. Sounds awesome.

I was disappointed in the showing on Saturday. There was 20 some teched into the Modified class but we only had 10 show up for qualifying and then 2 of them didn't show up for eliminations.

My wife and I happened to be in the stands when your car went down the track. I told her to watch closely because AFAIK it was the fastest Camaro around. But, shortly after the launch, something obviously went wrong. We saw a couple small things come out from under the car and you pretty much coasted down the track the rest of the way. We saw you eventually come back up under your own power so hopefully it wasn't anything serious. What happened and did you end up making other passes?

We broke an axle. We tried a couple of short-term fixes at the track so we could get a couple of passes in though. We did get one decent pass. Our driver had to pedal the car a bit to get it down the track at 9:05 so that we would have a qualifying run. That is a slow pass for the car though. We can and will do better. This is all part of racing.

The good news is that the guys at IPS figured out the real solution to the issue. It's actually a GM design flaw that doesn't allow the rear end to handle really big power. The guys at IPS know what to do to fix it. We will have it ready for the LSX event in Bowling Green next month and will be able to really put the power to the ground.

On the other hand, the engine is making big power and it's running great.

I can't say enough good things about how the team at IPS handled things this weekend. They worked their butts off working on the car. They never give up. They are awesome.

We'll be back better than ever. It was a good test and tune weekend for us in that we know what to do next to make things better.
