Learn somethin new everyday on here so soulful it b better to get HF cats instead of Shorties or Carb certified Shorties instead of HF cats

I did JBA shorties and hiflows as the JBA'S are carb legal in ca. Send the BBK'S back if you can as they are not, one less thing to worry about.Now Solo cats can eventually get a cel but not often, I have JBA'S and no cel but I tuned the car to tie in all my parts, stock tune was terrible , A/F and timing all over the place. Jba or solo cats are not legal anyway and you will have to swap out for the stock setup at smog time, at least thats easy enough and the jba headers are legal so those can stay. Me I wil do that and stock tune put back in but thats 4 years from now, then every two years but will sell car at that time anyway most likely

BTW... You are suppose to reuse the OEM gaskets, so be careful removing them.

I have had JBA high flows on for almost 2 years now. No CEL.

I am running BBK shorties and Solo Hi flow cats. No problems installing or any CEL after.... Like the performance a little loud

Great help everyone! I ended up with the BBK's on the stock cats. No appreciable power gains. JBA's are for sale. I will go Solos or long tubes and to hell with the smog!
