Exclamation Chevy Panther?

Did anyone know that this was going to be the "original" name of the Camaro & is supposedly a now performnace upgrade for the 5th gen Camaro?

So it turns out there will be a panther edition of the camaro. But it'll be coming from SLP, not GM. Will be revealed at NADA in Vegas, Feb. 3rd - 6th.

I did know about it almost being the name back in the day, but I hadn't heard of this new one, that's awesome!

I am not normally one for black or even blacked out Camaros but I have to admit that Panther looks really good!

Not a Thundercat edition?!? Reminds me of when I was in HS. Mercury brought back the Cougar with the same emblems. That's all I've got. lol

Yeah i knew that. The dealership out here had one. I think they wanted around $78,000. It had 600hp and they parked it next to a $56,000 580 Hp ZL1. Not the smartest move in my opinion.

I was just talking to my dealer yesterday about this. My SS is black w/ gold & he asked if I was trying to get the Panther look. I didn't know what he was talking about until he explained it to me. He really thought that was the look I was going for. I wished I would have known about the Panther, I would have gotten a different personalized plate and some more styling cue's from the Panther.
