Starting it again could ruin the block assuming it's still good. It could drastically increase the number of components that must be replaced. I wouldn't want any bearing metal circulating through the rest of the motor.

Good luck with everything
Neither can I. Nothing worse than someone you're paying not following your request. I'm just about done with this car.

That's exactly the reason I left a note and told two people do NOT start the car.

Maybe somehow I wasn't clear.

I'll see what next week brings. I'll try and make some plans on what I want to do over the next few days. My original thought was to reuse the crank and the block, if that's possible, and just upgrade the rest of the RA with stronger parts. Part of me is about to order a crate LS3 and just put the blower and cam back in, lower the boost to about 8, and start using the car more. Cut the cage out, remove the ice chest and actually have a fully functional car. This is turning into a cluster f*#k IMHO.

At least the C7 is at 3000 and should be here in a month or two!!

Hah. Yeah i'd fix it as easy as possible and start budgeting for the new beast! I'd take a c7 for my car... Not much else i can say that about.

That was the original plan but this derailed that thought. Budgeting for 3 race cars and a newborn will be a bitch. I'm gonna make the camaro better than before. What else can I really do. It past the point of no return a while ago. Prob just get some 20" drag radials for the C7 and see how well that will do. Revisit the car in the spring assuming the Grand National doesnt shit the bed.

Nightmare is a few months ahead of you after a similar situation. The TSP shortblock is a great option if you want to go that route. Assembled forged, stroked engine for a very fair price. I've never had a bad experience with them.

Yes, from what we talked about that day. Yes you can bud. That's even assuming that was it. If it was worse then of course your damage would be worse! I'd frickin go ape shit after I asked someone NOT to do something with MY CAR. Sorry to hear that bud.

I have a pm left with Jason. I figure it would be easier for everyone if they just bolted my stuff on an already build short block. It would free up a much needed lift faster for them.

Soooo here go my problems......

I pulled the intake and heard a rattle and I was like WTF!!!!
I opened it up and saw this....

Right away I thought valve!!! Noooo FML
I pulled a head and that one was ok but once I pulled the rockers a spring just fell over!! I was like OMG.

The rocker and pushrod and the cam lobe look good so I'm hoping tomorrow after I pull the head I find the piston to be OK, the valve is right there stuck!

Hoping for the best but expecting the worst. There is some bad luck floating around! It's all frickin Nightmares fault LOL.
