Take your time and get the best deal. I wouldn't buy a hail damaged car, because of the paint issues. I agree with the posts above way more likely to chip. You hit a bump and the car might turn into a paint bomb. Paint chips flying like they are in a snow globe. You can get low balled at any dealer.

Not buying a hail damage car. I've seen the car at the lot for months now but haven't pulled the trigger on it until now. The car is in great shop when I saw it first. 11,200 miles on it clean inside out not one paint chip that these cars are known for. Not one tear in leather. The storm came and destroyed my car and since the dealer wasn't that far from the storm they got hit to. So many dealerships got hit. But non look as bad as mine they took all 6 hail damage paintless dent removal out. The car was not hit like mine took them 30min to get the damage out. They looked like little door dings. This is a great deal for an ss with those miles and that great condition it's in. I'm pulling the trigger Tuesday and hopefully by Thursday I will be riding in it. I will try and get some deals out of the pot but this is a great deal. I'm seeing ss camaros in mn going for 33k with way more miles and not as near as clean as this one.

Do not go to Lupient Chevy in Bloomington I put down a Deposit for 1k to hold the car even though the car has been there for months. Found out later why the car was never there doing the night when wanted to just look at it because they was driving the cars home. A dealer who left then filled me in about that. I go to the dealer today to get ready to buy the car because have the insurance check now. They sold the car yesterday morning but told me to come in this morning. I left and called the other dealer who approved me but only for a new v6 which I don't want. They said that's not right so I called Bloomington Chevy back explain how that was not right they hung up the phone on me. So now I'm about to forced to settle for another v6

You put a grand down on the car and they sold it from under you? You have it in writing I hope since they owe you $1k? Not sure what actions you could take it make it right, but I agree that is very scummy of them to do that.

OP - we know you want to move quickly, but maybe take a few days to find something as close to what you want rather than settle.

Sorry that's ridiculous but dealers aren't known for rigorous ethical standards

Just a suggestion. Buy a piece of $1k crap to get around until you find a SS you want/afford. If you do the 2LT you won't be happy long.
Have patience young grasshopper! |
