Very cool. As soon as they have white with the black wheels, I'll buy one for the office.

I got a feeling there will be more of those bent-mirrored overpriced beauties than 25 per color...they'll magically say "because of increased demand..." usual bs.
Still, 109 seems steep. $59 maybe.

Pictures of the models I received yesterday and today:
The white, yellow and silver models are of the $109.00 variety, which are dealer promo models in China. These are a little less detailed on the undercarriage that the "limited edition" models that cost $300. The dealer promos have silver painted exhaust pipes/mufflers and a flat black undercarriage. These also come in gloss black outer boxes. The silver model actually arrived without the silver painted exhaust pipes/mufflers. The EBay seller will send me the missing parts soon. The red and black models are the "limited edition" models and are marked as such on the undercarriage. The red one is #6 of 25; the black one is #22 of 25. The exhaust pipes/mufflers on these are chrome plated. The rest of the exhaust system is painted silver. Otherwise, there are no additional details to justify the extra cost. The outer box finish is flat black, but otherwise marked the same as the promo models. For those concerned with the misaligned side mirrors, these can easily moved back into the correct position as the glue used to attach them to the body is flexible. These models are quite heavy. The body and chassis castings are cast in a very thick resin compound. The windows are essentially clear thin polyester surrounded by flat black etched metal framing (typical of resin models). These windows will cave in if you are too aggressive while cleaning. The windshield wipers are also made of the same thin etched metal. The ZL1 and Camaro logos are made out of etched metal and could also come off if the model is cleaned aggressively. I applied Micro-Scale Gloss over the logos to seal them in. The interior could stand to be better detailed in regards to colors. For example, the door panels and dash strip are flat black instead of Carbon Flash Metallic. I noticed a lot of criticism over the price of these models. What most people don't seem to realize is that the resin casting process is quite costly. 1:18 scale resin models that have opening features start out at $600 and can go all the way up to $10,000. For the adventurous types, the model can be disassembled for customization. There are 4 screws that hold the chassis to the body. 2 are plain to see at the front, the other 2 are hidden under the exhaust mufflers.
