foot hangs up when changing pedals

anyone else have an issue with your foot or shoe hanging under a duct when changing pedals? stopped my heart a few times. i took my shoe and it catches behind an air duct when pedaling back and forth. i was wondering if it is just me. this is an auto transmission 2ssrs.

You're not supposed to change pedals when you're driving.

crust

I can only WISH that certain rumor were true, and i got used to the problem soon enough, but when i drive something else, i notice i try to avoid the duct even when its not there in the other car. i was just curious. it scared the crust off my butt a couple of times i couldnt get to the brake as fast as i wanted. i find it funny nobody else having this issue.

Yup...

I wear a size 12 shoe and has happened more than once.
(And no, putting the seat back further doesn't do a thing...)

Maybe try a pair of shoes from the 21st century, and not the greaser pointy "cockroach killers" from West Side Story................just saying.

God bless this is your one problem with your car. I suggest you open a file/case # with the trolling customer service clowns that lurk around here. God knows they have nothing better to do.

My feet used to do this on a vette I had - I trimmed the duct at an angle to the floor to eliminate that. I trimmed it in about 3/4 of an inch on the bottom got the same air just not that corner hanging there to catch my shoe.

Never had this problem and I wear a size 12. Try "pedaling" with just the ball of your foot... instead of the whole thing.

The only way this should be happening is if you use your entire foot to engage any of the pedals, in which case
