It varies by model, the 2013/2014 Camaro is $1500 I believe. The cool thing about the card is they will at times send out “Top Offs” where they will max out your earnings if you use it towards a car within the specified time frame of the Top Off. (if you don’t use it, it goes poof) That is how the new card works, the original card works a bit different. It is still 5% of your spending, and you are still limited to a certain amount you can earn per year and your earnings still fall off after a certain time frame. However you can earn up to I believe $4000 that you can apply towards a purchase. That card is no longer available though, but if you have one like that you are grandfathered under the original agreement. These earnings stack with pretty much every other offer though so it’s very nice especially if you get one of the Top Off’s.
Yes, you are correct, in regards to the original card. It is 5% of all purchases in a calendar year, up to $500 a year, extending out to 7yrs, so it is $3500 per purchase. It then rolls over to the next year, so you don't lose the money at year 8, it just drops off the 1st year and continues on.

The credit card company tried to offer all of us with the old card $1500 extra to get the new card, but I wasn't biting, knew better. I have had the card since 1994 and used it to buy a 2000 Olds Alero and a 2008 Chevy Aveo (hey gas was $4.25 gallon in 2008) and now the Camaro.

I had about $1800 on the card last May, but got the letter about $1500 extra if buying from existing dealer stock on hand before Memorial day, and then it wasn't the "private offer" that everyone here is going off on, but GM had a Memorial Day sale for another $1000, so that was my incentives.

Usually around now, GM/Chevy really pushes out the "old" trucks for the new, and with the new model Silverado, many a deal should/could be had.

Lastly, when I got the letter for the additional $1500, it had a list of eligible cars, and it showed Camaro with an * next to it. On the bottom of the offer the * stated "Does NOT apply to Camaro ZL1" which I knew meant the ZL1 was selling like hotcakes and didn't need no stinking incentives!

...that's how I finally got one. I used it a few weeks back at a rather large dealership. It was the first one the sales manager had ever seen. It worked...

Did you press F5 while you were browsing through the chevy page or did you just keep pressing it while on the homepage.

I was able to get one easily before I bought my 1LE, but I just tried for the sake of it and had no luck either.

I had been trying for weeks back in March and April when one popped up on April 21st.

I was on the Chevy.Com site, and clicked on Camaro...........and got the pop up right there and then without doing the "build a car" feature.

I used it to buy my car April 27th.

I'm eyeing up a Hot Wheels Edition SS Coupe. Not big on the Hot Wheels logo's but the rest of the car is awesome!

Use incognito mode on chrome. That way all you have to do is close the tab and reopen it. It wont keep anything saved.

Good idea! I thought about trying that, but I didn't really know if it would work! Thanks!
