Seats
I know I'm getting ahead of the game here but thought I'd toss this out. Any info on seat style for the Camaro. Concept seats look similar to the older Corvette (early 90s) seat with the side bolsters. Being a "bigger" person, I didn't fit very well in those seats. Concerned I may not fit in the Camaro seats either. If these seats are more like C5 seats, they fit pretty well.

welcome, i believe that the interior is the last thing that gets completed, it may look like the concept it may be something totally new, don't decide too early.

Not sure, but the R&D guys said the interior room is nothing like the concept at all....it is much roomier. I bet there is going to be plenty of room in the seat. Maybe we'll get lucky and have adjustable side bolsters?

Check out the interior spy shots. I doubt the same exact seats will be used for production models, but it is possible. Our member "camero" has sat in a production spec model and said it was very comfortable, but did not mention the seats specifically.
The disciples are scheduled to check out the latest units this month, please report on interior accomodations for all size people. z

There were rumors around a while back that Recaro was doing the seats. Didn't they do the Cobalt SS seats?

I suppose there's always the aftermarket option if worse comes to worst.

I think the whole image of the camaro could be enhanced with a better interior. i hope there is alot of effort put into making it a cockpit worth spending some serious time in. no cheap plastic or imitations.
