I was checking the NRSCCA site and see there is some solo action this weekend.

I'm interested in checking it out.

Oooo that track looks sweet! Wish we had one that big in central Iowa, but I'll have to make the trip out to this one sometime!

I was interested in both the road race and 1/8th mile, I was told I will need a helmet and if I hadn't road raced before, I will need to attend the class they hold on the first Friday of each month.
4th of July weekend kind of messed that up for me this month, so I'm shooting for August if I find me a helmet.

Well here is the reply I received when I requested info;

If you are wanting to participate in the SCCA solo event, you will need to contact them. If you are just wanting to do open lapping on our road course and do not have road course experience, you will need to take our orientation class first, and the next one is Friday July 3rd. After that the next one is Friday, August 7th. If you already have road course experience you can come out and do open lapping on any Friday. Full day is $120 plus tax and half day is $80 plus tax. Make sure you have a snell 2000 or newer approval on your helmet….no shorts or sandals.
