I am still interested as well...However, when I inquired about the unit I was quoted around $600-700. When getting ready to provide funds the priced suddenly jumped to over $1000-1200. I backed out due to the pricing fluctuations that were taking place.

Interesting...

I don't know why someone hasn't made something for ipad mini already for our cars.

I would buy one right now. However, my ipad mini doesn't have 3G... Way to build in a router in your car somehow? Noob question I'm sure.

You still have to decide on after market radio/amp to power mini sound. I think it looks great, but wondering over time how practical or the actual want would still be there. Sometimes ease of use out weighs the coolness factor

If you have a smart phone you could pay I think an additional 10 a month to your provider to enable personal hotspot and then connect your iPad to your phones internet connection.

And either this guy's is in hiding or he just doesn't want to tell you guys lol

You could look into one of those suction cup mounts.
