My buddy was telling me about water wetter and I am going to try it.

Ya you can't beat a good set of brake pads. I was really impressed with racing brakes xt970 pad. Isn't cheap but damn 125 to 25-35 with unbelievable stopping power and no fade at all and on a hot day. I am sure before long I am going to have to do a rebuild or upgrade the calipers.

Ya I have been thinking of doing something along those lines as well. My tranny runs at good temps but my oil was way to freaking hot. It made my butt pucker when I was going down the straight at 145+ at high RPMs and only saw 30 psi

Need to do something before the next track day so I don't kill my motor. Good oil will also help in that department as well.

Axis,
There is no such thing as good brakes and no dust. You will have to pick one or the other. The happy medium that I choose for the street, fronts, are the Carbotech Bobcats. They are not the greatest but not the worst, they are street pads. If you track your car with certain groups, or say you do, you can get discounts with Carbotech.

BTW... Don't phuck with the monkey!!!!!

T.
Yeah, I know good brakes will dust but i'd like to find some that dust less than stockers and still brake better. Where is the best place to buy the CT bobcats? What group would I say i' with? I'm not against lying to get what I want at a discount.

That's a good idea, although i'm usually prety good at letting the clutch out right in the knee... No smell and no spin. I just don't know what to expect on a prepped surface.
Lol sorry thought for a second you were L99!! Ooops

Axis...I don't think the AARP card will apply to brake pads.

I bet it will! Hell even the UPS store discounts for AARP members! Who wouldn't want our senior citizens to have better brakes?

And the surgery begins!

I looked over the track schedule, and i don't think the 23/24 is the best time to go. It loks like some grudge match stuff. I was thinking more along the lines of a test and tune day. I need to look at the schedule again. There is autocross that weekend though. Maybe i'll do that instead.
