I remember one trip, I was re-crewing a train about 300 yards from a crossing; sitting up at the crossing, just off to the side of the road, was a man and his special needs son standing outside of their vehicle to watch the train pass by... I couldn't help it, I stepped out the rear cab door (behind the engineer's seat) and gave him a big wave as we passed by. I wish I would've had an extra safety vest or something to throw him, but he was super pumped... that kinda stuff can make your whole trip a good one.

I thought this thread was about getting waves in our Camaros, not bragging about choo choo trains....

Sorry, I'm just pissy I've been driving my Camaro all weekend and haven't got a single wave... I deserve to be waved at too! My Camaro is sweet!

Corvette owners wave at each other no matter what. Everyone just does it, it's like motorcycle riders.

I've tried it with the camaro and come up empty every time, they just look at me like I got a d**k growing out of my forehead, so I assumed it just wasn't done. Good to know this is a contentious issue

I was in my Chevy Van working , and A Camaro was coming my way , As he approached I waved at him and he gave me the thumps up. Damn what a great moment

I got 2 waves today, one was from a Trans Am Firehawk and the other was a Challenger. An Orange Camaro followed me on the highway for about 8 miles, when I turned off I waved. He did not. Do I have to sell now or am I good for a few days?
