I have a '12 LFX auto.

I bought the fluid at the dealer.

I asked about the additive. The parts manager told me that it was only necessary for the manual transmission versions.

So if you have a A6 auto all you need is the AC Delco Fluid. NO slip addictive, correct?

Thank you

That is correct.

This is one advantage of going to the dealer parts dept. They ask you for your vin #. This tells the computer what to provide when you ask for part X.
