I'm just currious, not trying to start anything here.....

Doesn't the Oshawa line have equipment that tests rotational torque applied vs output and calculate the change? Would it be possible to put the gearboxes in question on this equipment and check:

1. The stress on torque bearing parts

2. How much input torque is exerted before any parts fail

3. How much the output torque is when the part in question fails

We've just received word that the plant has received the go ahead to begin shipping some of the LS3 cars including some which were built this week! Not a model wide problem after all! More news in the Bayed thread.

As I said in earlier posts - it takes some time to get all of the facts.

Not all cars will be shipped immediately - but we're working on this as fast as we can.........

The question is, Hyltons post said some Camaro's will be shipped. Do you have a range for either the ones that will be shipped or the one's that will remain in QC?

If I can re-iterate what The Fbodfather has stated a few times here, the evaluation process takes time and as the cars clear the process, they will be released. My suggestion is to post your car in the Bayed thread and wait for the regular updates to see when your car is shipped.

Seriously, I hope your cars are delivered soon and that you get years and years of enjoyment from them.

I heard from a trunk monkey that his tail kept getting wrapped up in the driveshaft & when the owner found him kicked his ass out!

I tried to tell him I heard Mustangs have nice trunks but he wouldnt have any of it
