Engine Bay Cleanup *Pics*

I finished up my engine bay cleanup today. Installed the TechAFX relocation kit for the coolant, evap, and fuel line. Also installed Holley satin valve covers. Everything went smooth and with the exception of getting the coolant hose off of the firewall it was fairly easy to install everything.

Still need to work on perfecting the wiring around the fuel injectors and coil packs. All in all I'm very pleased.

Anything special you used to clean the engine bay or techniques you'd like to share? I'm always trying to keep mine clean as well but seems as though every time I open the hood its dirty again. Looks great by the way nice job!

As for washing...I typically wash the engine bay just as I do the rest of the car. Soap and water and dry it with a towel.

The engine bay looks great ( as well as your SS ), I plan on doing the coil paks like you have. Question, what kind of intake tube is that on your car? Thanks

Your engine bay looks great but be careful with the water..
That water will eat up and short your electrical components.
I wipe mine with a damp towel and that's about it.
I got close to 20k miles now and my engine still looks like it just came of the showroom

Wow I didn't know you could do that. I figured that, that much water would damage the wiring and/or electrical components that's there.
