It's a SLP Blackwing. It uses a drop in high flow filter and a smooth elbow. Prefer this setup to the typical "hot air intake" available.

That water will eat up and short your electrical components.
I wipe mine with a damp towel and that's about it.
I got close to 20k miles now and my engine still looks like it just came of the showroom
Been washing my engine bay with low pressure for years. It's actually first step of the car wash procedure. Do it every 2 weeks. All the electrical connection have rubber sealed connectors.

I would be too scared
Then again I don't even drive the car in the rain.
Again your engine-bay looks great!

I am just fortunate to live in BFE Phoenix where it never rains.
More concerned about all the freaking dust here.
Cant be good either.

If you're in EG drop by and I can give you some ideas and help. As for warranty...never paid it any attention. Rules are as long as the modification wasn't the cause of the failure it has to be covered. I tuned my car within the first day of owning it. But this is my 4th LS engines car.

Dust is easy. Get an air compressor and just blow it out!

Looks great. I prefer that exposed look compared to the engine covers/chrome/painted parts/etc.
How did you remove the small intake manifold cover? I see you have the entire intake manifold exposed. I assume you have to remove the fuel line. Was that difficult?
