Driving 70 a day round trip I worry about doing it in a beater because I don't want to end up on the side of the rode broken down. I'm female by the way so that isn't what I wanted to happen. Sorry for the long story... The answer is..... DD
Hey! We're in the same boat.... I will be driving mine (when I get her) daily... 84 miles round trip & then on the weekends...I'm sure we'll take her everywhere else we go... I put 25K - 30K miles a year on my cars. My hubby has a Dodge RAM 1500 Hemi, that we can drive, but I'm sure mine will be much more fun!! We will be keeping his truck when it's paid for next year... & he's "thinking" about a Camaro for himself! We'll see what he decides.

I also hate the thought that I "might" break down on the road (since I spend so much time there), so I trade my cars in every 3-4 years. So.... we'll see if this new Camaro will be a "keeper".

Mine will be a DD for about 2 months until my company car comes in then it will be my weekend toy. I was gonna DD it but I just drive too much and it would have like 80K on it in 2 years.

Mine will be a pleasure car, I can't part with my Mazda 6, bought it new and it's paid for. However my husband plans to start driving the Mazda more since his truck is hard on gas.

Camaro will be my only vehicle when I trade my truck in. I'm single, 27 and live in Texas. No need for much of a backseat and no need for a winter beater. Once I get it, I will start looking for a used Triumph Daytona.

Daily driver for me. Not much of a driver myself. Put 54,000 miles on my grand prix in 6 years of daily driving. I bet the grand prix doesn't see 70,000 miles by 10 years : ).

Keeping the grand prix around for the cruddy OH winter weather. However, I'm not parking the camaro all winter. That'd waste precious fun time.

I kept my truck for the commute to and from work, but the Camaro will be driven almost everyday.

My 2SS/RS is my DD currently. Once winter hits, I'll be switching. I inherited the fiance's Cavalier and she took my Impala when we got the Camaro. Just how often I'll be driving the Cav. in the winter is yet to be determined.
